Wi-Fi
We have free high-speed internet for you in the condo. The network is named Islander 334 and the internet password is monkseal334. If you are having connection problems, we recommend that you unplug then re-plug the power to the cable modem. The modem is located on the dresser next to the TV. Unplug the black power plug from the modem box, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in. This should resolve your issue. Free Wi-Fi internet access is also available in the main lobby. The name of the Wi-Fi in the lobby is Islander Lobby.
Please note that we do not have maid service. Should you wish to schedule a cleaning during your stay, please contact us for pricing prior to your arrival.
We provide you with a complimentary welcome starter kit of essentials to help you settle in. You will find a starter set of coffee, coffee filters, creamers, sugars, travel size shampoo, conditioner, and soap along with 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels. We also include a small liquid dish soap, sponge, and trash bags in the kitchenette. We do not replenish the starter kit supplies and anything beyond this, we ask our guests to pick up during their stay. We have numerous grocery stores in the area and the Island Country Market at Coconut Marketplace is directly behind our condo just a 3-minute walk away.
Kitchen
Inside the kitchen island cabinet, you will find silverware, a toaster oven, and blender. There are dishes, glasses, an ice bucket, grilling tools, and more in the cabinets and drawers above and below the sink. An ice machine is located on the 1st floor. There is another ice machine behind the Ni’ihau building too.
Coffee Maker
We have a standard 12-cup coffee maker that uses your typical 12 cup paper coffee filters.
Instructions:
Step 1: Plug in the coffee maker and fill the coffee carafe with water to the line marked with the number of cups you would like.
Step 2: Lift the lid on top of the coffee maker. Pour the water into the reservoir.
Step 3: Insert a paper coffee filter in the coffee filter basket. Use filters made for 12 cup coffee makers.
Step 4: Fill the filter basket with coffee. See below for recommended coffee measurements. We have measuring spoons in the island cabinet.
Step 5: Press the “Select/Off” button to start brewing.
Ice Machine
Located on the first floor of our building. There is another ice machine behind the Ni’ihau building too.
You’ll find a variety of Kauai guidebooks in our condo that are great references for fun activities on the island. Our favorite guidebook is The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook: Kauai Revealed. It’s a great source for breathtaking hiking trails, secluded beaches, pristine reefs, and so much more.
Beach and Hiking Goodies
You will find beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, cooler, hiking poles and binoculars in the condo for your enjoyment.
Drying Racks
On the lanai we have 2 drying racks. One is installed on the wall and the other is an accordion folding rack. You can watch this video to see how to unfold the drying rack.
The pool is right next to the condo. There is a hot tub next to the pool. We have two drying racks on our lanai for your swimsuits and towels. One is mounted to the wall and the other is a fold-out rack behind the AC unit. Please refrain from hanging items from the lanai railing as this is prohibited by our home owner’s association.
Trash: Recycling and standard trash bins are on the ground floor of our building, at the end of the building closest to the front lobby.
