Please ensure the sliding glass door is **fully closed** while running the A/C. If you leave the glass door open, the air conditioning unit may overheat and shut off. To use the air conditioner remote control, you must be close to the air conditioner which is above the couch. Point the remote control directly at the AC unit from a 1 to 2 foot distance. The remote control will not function if you are too far way from the air conditioner. Get closer.
